Pay Types Setup

Here is where you will fill out you company Pay Types in ClockVIEW.

Use the Pay Types tab in setup to manage all the different types of pay to be used in your system. The types defined here can later be selected in the Type section of the Time Card.

Pay Type Name: How the pay type will be identified in the application.

Payroll Code: The value entered here is used when creating an export file for use with a payroll package. If you are using this software with a payroll package, enter the code the payroll package uses to identify this type of exception payment.

Include in OT: If selected, excused time of this type will count towards employee's overtime pay.

Include in Pay: If selected, excused time of this type will count towards employee's worked pay.

Worked: When checked, the selected pay type will default to a Worked pay type.

Overtime Pay Type: System is providing default overtime paytype for OT1 and OT2 So there is no need to create other over time pay type.
