How do I use the Schedule Preferences screen?

Explanation:

This screen is used to display complete details of an Employee Schedule Preferences

for a Week (i.e. Default Preference/Specific week) in the form of color codes.

This screen display divided time slot under the week grid, for Start time & End time

as well as 24 hours.

The Schedule Preferences screen can be accessed by clicking  
Home >> Schedule Preferences tab or Employees >> Schedule Preferences.


Items available on Schedule Preferences screen:                

Advance Options:          Contains Following items


Start Time:

Display Schedule Start time after selection

from Clock icon.

End Time:

Display Schedule End time after selection

from Clock icon.

Time Slot Duration (hr):

Display Schedule time slot duration in the text box after

select from Up & Down arrows.


Employees:

Display Employees name in the drop down box by select from

drop down List/with help of Left & Right Arrow marks. And also

page will populated & Display Schedule preference details for a

Week (i.e. Default Preference/Specific week) of selected Employee.

Yes, I will Work:

Display a small square box in Green color & It indicates Yes,

I Will work.

No, I will not work:

Display a small square box in Pink color & It indicates No,

I Will not work.

Maybe, I will work:

Display a small square box in Brown color & It indicates Maybe,

I Will work.

No Answer:

Display a small square box in Red color & It indicates No Answer.

Show 24 hours...:

It allow to display 24 hours time slot on the screen.

       

Schedule Preferences Week Grid: This grid display the Schedule Preferences details of an

Employee in a week (i.e. Default preference / Specific Week) & it includes the following columns :

  •        The columns are dynamic on the bases of Default Preferences & Specific Week.

  •        In case of Default Preferences, columns are display like with day name only

           (i.e. Sunday, Monday,.....& Saturday).

  •        In Case of Specific Week, columns are display like day name with date as well

           (i.e. if we select specific Week as from 21st Feb 2016 to 27th Feb 2016, Now the

           columns are display like (Sun,21), (Mon,22),....& (Sat,27)).

Add Schedule Preferences: This functionality allow to add a new Schedule Preferences for
a week (i.e.Default Preference / Specific Week) of an Employee.
 •        Double click or right click any where under any week day column.
 •        Select Start time & Stop time from calender pop up & time view pop up.
 •        Select any radio button options & Click on Save button under Add new Schedule Preference
          pop up window.
 •        Page will populate with newly added Schedule Preference & Display proper Schedule
          Preference according to selected options.


Edit Schedule Preferences: This functionality allow to make modifications in the selected
Schedule Preferences.
 •        Right click on preferred Schedule Preference to Edit.
 •        Click on Edit button.
 •        Edit required options (i.e. Start time, Stop time, Yes, I Will work, No, I Will not work,
          Maybe, I Will work & No Answer).
 •        Click on Save button under Edit Schedule Preference pop up window.
 •        Page will populate with Edited Schedule Preference & Display proper Schedule
          Preference according to Edit options.

Delete Schedule Preferences: This functionality allow to remove or delete selected
Schedule Preference.
 •        Right click or place the cursor on preferred Schedule Preference to Delete.
 •        Click OK under Delete confirmation pop up window.
 •        Page will populate & Check for Deleted or removed Schedule Preference.
 •        Removed Schedule Preference will be not visible in the Schedule Preference.


Default Preference: This Radio button allow to display Default Schedule preferences of an
Employee at any time.        
 •        Select Default Preference Radio button by expand Advance options.
 •        Click on Proceed button.
 •        Page will populate & Display default Schedule preferences for a Week under the
          Week grid if already defined.
 •        If not defined, Add Default Schedule preference to an Employee.

Specific Week: This Radio button allow to display Specific week Schedule preferences of an Employee.
 •        Select Specific week Radio button by expand Advance options.
 •        Select a Specific week from Calender pop up.
 •        Click on Proceed button.
 •        Page will populate & Display Specific week duration on the Week grid as well as
          Schedule preferences under the Week grid if already defined.
 •        If not defined, Add Specific week Schedule preference to an Employee.        


Proceed: This button allow to display Schedule Preference details under week grid, According to
selected Advanced options .
 •        Choose required options from Advanced Options.
 •        Click on Proceed button.
 •        Page will populated & Display Schedule Preference details for a week as per selection.

Drag & Drop: This functionality allow to Drag & Drop Schedule Preference from one place to another
with help of mouse.
 •        Give left click from the mouse on preferred Schedule, then Drag & Drop any where in the
          Week grid (i.e.In same column (Up/Down) as well as to another columns (Left/Right) ).
 •        After drag & drop, we can also find changes in Schedule timings.


Stretching: This functionality allow to Edit (Increase or decrease) Schedule Preferences timing of an
Employee with help of mouse.
 •         Place the cursor (Top/Bottom) on preferred Schedule preference & Stretch
           (i.e. Increase / Decrease) the timing.
 •         After Stretching, we can also find changes in Schedule timings.
