Security Users

How do I use the Security Users screen?

The security users screen can be accessed by selecting Security users from the Admin menu.

This screen is used as an administrative tool to set up user's access rights and authority levels in the ShiftView application.

The Security users screen includes the following items:

User:	This box is used to select existing users.
User name:	The user name of the selected user or allow to enter new user name in case of new user.
Password:	The password of the selected user or allow to enter new user password in case of new user.
Security Policy:	The security policy will be defined to this user as per selection from security policies drop down.
Group:	List of group will be visible & allows to select one or more groups to which user belongs.
Department:	List of departments will be visible & allows to select one or more department to which user belongs.

• In order to add new user, click Add login button.

• This will clear all fields and settings to allow for creating new user.

• Enter a user name and password for the new account.

• Assign a security policy to user from security policies drop down.

• Select one or more groups and departments as per requirement.

• This will help the ShiftView for employee supervision as per company policy.

• Click Update button to save information of new/edited user.

• In order to remove a user from the application, select the user from User drop-down.

• Click the Remove login button which will ask you for removal confirmation.

• Click OK to remove otherwise click Cancel to abandon action.

Note: Application won't allow to delete any logged in user.
